A Moment I’ve Been Chasing for Years

There are certain moments in life that don’t feel real when they happen… and this was one of them.
I recently booked a role in a feature film alongside Alexander Ludwig and Emma Roberts called HAL.
And yeah… I’m still kind of processing it.
I wish I could spill everything about the project, the story, and what went down on set, but for now, I’ve gotta keep it close to the chest. What I can say is this:
WOOOHOO!!
This one meant something deeper.

The Kind of Set You Dream About
From the moment I stepped on set, it just felt… different.
You know those times where everything you’ve worked for, everything you’ve sacrificed, all the “no’s,” all the doubts, it all kind of shows up at once and says, “See? It wasn’t for nothing.”

That was this.

Working alongside Alex was honestly a highlight. He was incredibly kind, down to earth, and just the kind of guy you hope people are when you finally meet them. We got to talk, work, and just exist in the same creative space, and I genuinely felt respected as an actor.

At one point, it even felt like he saw something in me. As an actor… that sticks with you. He asked me where I was from, kept saying how good of an actor I am. We talked. We connected. It was brief but it was reassuring. He encouraged me. He lifted me up.

My First Trailer
I had my own trailer.
Man… writing that still feels surreal.
It might sound small to some people, but if you’ve ever chased something like this, you know, it’s not just a trailer. It’s a milestone. It’s a symbol. It’s a quiet nod that says, “You belong here.”
I sat in there for a long time and just let it sink in.
All the years. All the grind. All the times I questioned if this was ever going to happen…
And there I was.

SAG Eligible… Finally
This project also made me SAG eligible. That’s been a dream since day one.
For people outside the industry, that might not mean much, but for actors, it’s a line in the sand. It’s a door opening. It’s proof that you’re stepping into a different level of the game. And I don’t take that lightly.
I thought about the version of me who first started this journey, the kid with big dreams, no clue how hard it would be, and no safety net. He’d be proud of this moment.

More to Come… I Promise
I’ve got so much more I want to say.
Stories from set. Moments that hit me. Things I learned. Things that challenged me.
But for now, I’ve gotta wait until more gets released before I can really dive into it.
Just know this, this isn’t the end of a chapter.
It feels like the beginning of something.
And when I’m allowed to share more… I will.

If You’re Chasing Something…
Let me leave you with this.
There were a lot of moments where this dream felt far away. Times where quitting would’ve made more sense. Times where nothing was working.

But moments like this?

They remind you why you didn’t quit.

So if you’re out there working hard, questioning, wondering if it’s ever going to click,
Keep going.

Because sometimes the breakthrough shows up when you least expect it… right when you need it most.
Love God, Love your fight Love Life!

Well written, Steve. Whenever I have a conversation with you, I can still feel the electricity and excitement from that unforgettable night you're living off of. It lingers in your voice, your energy, and the way you carry yourself. I'm truly thrilled and so happy for you that you got this role. It feels like the universe is rewarding you for all the passion and talent you've poured into your craft.
